I would like to thank all those of you who liked and paid me nice compliments on the previous posting of my new cover image, taken in Washington, DC, last week. I am often asked if I Photoshopped an image or changed it in any way. In the interest of full disclosure, here is the original, right out of the box. I guess you could say I tweaked it… But I did so in the interest of making an image that conveyed the sense of cold I felt that day, and the sense of being the only tourist out there experiencing this majestic view. So yes, I Photoshopped it. My question is however, when did the word, Photoshop, become a verb? And a pejorative one at that.
