I walk a lot lately. With the pandemic raging on, I mostly stay close to home. I am fortunate to live in a great neighborhood that is quiet and peaceful, with lovely old homes and large, beautiful trees that are always colorful this time of year. I see very very few political signs or evidence of the upcoming election. The walks make for a great escape from the tumultuous world we live in today. I am glad for my little respites. At some point I hope the world returns to normal. But it seems the definition of the word is in flux as well. So for now, my normal is my little walks with my little dog.
