The 1990’s were very good to me. My work was taking off, I was traveling extensively, and everything was clicking. I do believe I did some of my finest work during this period. There was a convergence of the worlds of art and commerce, and black and white photography was enjoying great interest, as was my work. I decided to do this portfolio in 2003, and while I didn’t know it at the time, it celebrated my final days in the darkroom and working with film. This portfolio came together much more fluidly than Portfolio I, as I was more decisive, and more confident the work I had done during this period. It remains one of my favorite bodies of work. Once again, I created two portfolios and called upon Paul Brainerd again to see if he might like to collect this work. And he did. Only this time I didn’t create an invoice on PageMaker.
