I want to write a blog post about this image. I made it recently as a test of my new camera. I keep staring at it. It is so quiet and peaceful. I know it is just an empty room, but I love the light and the solitude. I love the lineup of chairs. As if to suggest visitors are coming. Or have they just left? I think the image stresses the importance this space has been to me at this time of my life. A place to create, a place to ruminate, a place to escape. Sometimes I just sit here and stare at the walls. It is my quiet place. A place where I can shut out the noise of the world. I am not sure what I would do without it.
