Carter turned 90 last week. We had a little birthday party on Sunday. Had the most people in our house that day since before the pandemic. It was a nice event and everyone enjoyed themselves. It is hard for me to imagine what it is like to be 90 years old, or if I will ever make that far. But he handles it all with grace and continues to carry on as best he can. I often wonder if I do live that long, will I be as strong or as sharp as he is. But that is 20 years out, and who knows what can happen before then. I am better off just living in the moment and leaving the future for another day.
