I was bumbling around looking for neg to scan, an old neg, over 20 years old, pushing 30 actually. In the process I found a trove of negs I was sort of looking for a few months ago. I also found this image of you that I made when we were in Reno in June of 1995. I always thought that this was a rather heroic image. I scanned it and found it not to be as sharp as I would like it to be. Camera movement maybe? I thought I used a tripod during that sequence, as the next frame of a barren landscape is sharper. But not so much by today’s standards. Even though it is a 2 1/4 neg, there is still grain that softens the image somewhat. It is funny in this day and age of uber megapixels that our definition of sharpness has changed, or at least mine. I think in a lot of ways I still like the world a bit fuzzy.
